Twitter released insights from its Twitter Conversation Report Tuesday analyzing how users talk about video games, video game influencers, esports and more on the social networking platform.
Looking at data from June 20, 2020, through June 20, 2021, Twitter found that 70 gaming-related tweets are sent per second. For this same time period, tweet volume increased in every gaming-related subtopic in Twitter’s report. For instance, tweet volume related to gaming influencers increased 184% when comparing the time period of June 20, 2020, through June 20, 2021, with June 20, 2019, through June 20, 2020.
