Twitch introduced a new appeals portal this week, and the Amazon-owned streaming platform will follow that up with the rollout of an updated reporting process starting next week.

The new reporting process features a simpler, more intuitive design, with search functionality to help users find the reason why they are reporting content or other users, as well as menus specifically tailored to clips, live content or video-on-demand.

When filing a report, people will be prompted to choose the most relevant reason for the report and include as much context and information as possible.

Twitch said it expects the new reporting process to be fully rolled out in the next few months, adding in a blog post, “Reports from the community are an essential part of keeping Twitch safe not just for flagging specific incidents, but also for giving us valuable data about potential emerging trends in bad behavior.
