What started out as 15 seconds and evolved to 60 seconds can now be triple that length.

TikTok said Thursday that a select group of creators around the world has been experimenting with longer-form videos of up to three minutes in length, and it will roll out the option to all users in the coming weeks.

Once TikTok users receive a notification alerting them that longer videos are now part of their creative toolbox, they will be able to edit, film and upload videos of up to three minutes in length.
