Time Magazine Is Getting Paid in Bitcoin to Produce a Video Series

Time Magazine has gone beyond the crypto-curious. 

The publisher is accepting payment in the Bitcoin cryptocurrency for producing a video series this summer. The series, a partnership with digital currency asset management company Grayscale, will explain the murky crypto landscape.

Time has agreed to be paid in Bitcoin and will hold it on its balance sheet, “a first for our media partnerships,” said Grayscale CEO Michael Sonnenshein.
