Avatars have come to TikTok.

The video creation platform introduced a way for its users to reflect their unique look and personality in avatars that they can become in their videos, with a wide array of options for elements such as accessories, hairstyles, makeup and piercings.

Users can open the effects section in the TikTok application and search for the avatar effect and, once they are done customizing their avatars, they can record videos with them. As a person gestures and moves, their avatar will mimic those motions.
