TikTok turned the volume up on SoundOn, an all-in-one promotion and music distribution platform aimed at helping new and undiscovered artists grow their fanbases, harness their creative voice and get their music heard worldwide.

Artists can use SoundOn to upload their music directly to TikTok and begin earning royalties when that music is used on the video creation platform.

TikTok said SoundOn will pay music creators 100% of royalties in the first year and 90% thereafter, and the platform will also provide access to TikTok’s song tab, audience insights and development and expert advice from a dedicated SoundOn artist team.

Artists can also distribute their music to other platforms via SoundOn.
