TikTok Adds Auto Captions to Aid Deaf, Hard of Hearing Users

Creators can edit the text after it is generated, and viewers can opt to turn them off

The feature is debuting in American English and Japanese, with more languages to be added in the coming months TikTok

TikTok Tuesday introduced auto captions to help members of its community who are deaf or hard of hearing better enjoy videos on its platform and gain more context on those videos.
