Snapchat is using Safer Internet Day Tuesday as a reason to remind Snapchatters to ensure that their friends lists are still pure and to remove those who no longer spark joy.

The messaging application will begin rolling out a new Friends Check Up feature worldwide for Android users in the coming weeks and for Snapchatters with iOS devices in the coming months.

The feature prompts users via in-app notifications to examine their friends lists and make sure they contain people they still want to be connected to, and it gives them an easy way to remove those who they no longer wish to interact with.
