Snap Inc. promoted Sofia Gross to head of policy partnership and social impact.

Gross has been with the company since July 2015, joining as producer, politics and news and working on public policy for political and nonprofit partnerships from June 2016 through June 2019, when she was named public policy manager, political government and nonprofit partnerships.

She came to Snap from the University of Chicago Institute of Politics, where she had been serving as 2016 election project coordinator.

Gross helped the company shape its political partnerships team, nonprofit partnership efforts and global public policy team, and she led initiatives including Snapchat’s voter
