Dubsmash, the TikTok-like social media application acquired by Reddit last December, will shut down Feb. 22, 2022.
Reddit said in a blog post Tuesday that since the Dubsmash team joined the company last year, work has been ongoing to integrate its video creation tools into the Reddit platform.
That integration is now complete, and after Feb. 22. Dubsmash will no longer be available for download via Google Play or the iTunes App Store, and the application will cease to function.
Reddit wrote, “Combining forces has been a perfect match.
