Reddit stopped displaying view counts on posts three years ago, due to scaling issues, but those issues have since been resolved, so the platform reintroduced them to post insights, along with some other metrics.
Reddit said in a blog post that moderators and post creators on the web will begin to see different post performance insights, including community karma, total post views, total shares and upvote rate. Some 50% of Redditors on desktop currently have access.

The company added that it will explore rolling these insights out to other platforms and adding more information and statistics.
