Patricia Fili-Krushel joined the board of directors at Reddit, taking the spot of Sam Altman, who stepped down after seven years as a member.
Fili-Krushel was most recently CEO of global think tank and advisory service Coqual, leaving that role in February 2021, but she is best known for high-level roles in the television sector, at NBCUniversal, Time Warner, WebMD, Disney-ABC Television Group and Lifetime.
She currently serves on the boards of Chipotle and Dollar General.
Altman is CEO of research company OpenAI, following five years as president of startup accelerator Y Combinator.
