Reddit has begun to scale its advertising offer across Europe with the appointments of David Trencher and Maria Purcell to lead local teams focusing on retail, tech, gaming and finance verticals.

Trencher moves to London from the U.S. team, having previously held positions within Facebook and Spotify, and will take the position of head of large customer sales (LCS) across both the U.K. and EMEA. Also joining will be Purcell from Facebook, who will become head of growth partnerships (mid-market and small-media business sales.)
