Politico Europe Names Jamil Anderlini Its New Editor in Chief

The newsroom veteran succeeds the late Stephen Brown, who died in March

Jamil Anderlini has been named the next editor in chief of Politico Europe, a joint venture launched by Politico and Axel Springer in 2015 that is headquartered in Brussels and has offices in London, Berlin and Paris.

Anderlini will assume the position this fall, where he will replace the acting editor in chief John Harris, who took over the position in March following the untimely death of Stephen Brown. In his role, Anderlini will guide the coverage of the publication, its editorial strategy and the operations of its 100-person European newsroom.
