The Apple App Store has a new stand-alone application from Pinterest, Shuffles, with the company saying in the app’s description that it was “designed for collective collaging.”
Pinterest said Pinners can use the app’s camera to capture images or tap into its photo library, and then cut out objects from those images with a single tap.
They can then layer, resize and rotate those objects, add animations or effects, share them privately with friends to collaborate on projects, remix other Pinners’ Shuffles or post them to public groups.
Pinterest wrote in the description, “Want to curate a festival outfit? Visualize your dream bedroom? Moodboard your current aesthetic vibe? Or just express yourself by creating something beautiful, strange or funny? You’ll love Shuffles.”
