The Pinterest Predicts crystal ball is out again, as the platform is aiming for the same success rate in predicting 2022 trends as it achieved in 2021.

The company said in a blog post Tuesday, “Pinterest Predicts isn’t your typical roundup of what was trending—it’s a not-yet-trending report of what is to come.”

Pinterest will also introduce a tool enabling individual Pinners to get involved in the coming weeks.

In-application experience Pinterest Predicts: Your 2022 will provide Pinners with a set of personalized Idea Pins depicting ideas they loved, trends they were among the first to sample and their most inspired month of 2021, as well as predictive suggestions of things to try in 2022.
