Pinterest Is ‘Loudly & Proudly Latiné’ During Hispanic Heritage Month

“Loudly & Proudly Latiné” is Pinterest’s theme for its Hispanic Heritage Month initiatives, aimed at highlighting the wide range of diversity within the Latiné community.

Pinterest said in a blog post Monday that following guidance from Todos Pincluidos, its internal employee resource group, it is “embracing Latiné as a term that is not only inclusive and gender-neutral, but also easier to pronounce in Spanish than the more commonly used term, Latinx.”

Todos Pincluidos vice president of development Luis Aguirre said in the blog post, “This month is a reminder of the immense diversity within the Latiné and Hispanic communities.
