Pinterest Adds New Features for Boards

Note to self, new toolbar, marking top Pins as favorites

One of the effects of quarantine on Pinterest’s platform has been a 35% increase in the number of boards created each month, joined by a 30% rise in collaborative boards over the past six months.

With that in mind, Pinterest introduced several new features for boards Thursday, with the aim of making it easier for Pinners to plan and transfer all of the visual inspiration they gain from the platform into real life.

A new section on saved Pins, note to self, enables Pinners to add private notes to those Pins, such as, “Try this for brunch,” or, “This will go well with the living room rug.”
