A new survey from Pew Research Center showed just how sharp the divide is between Republicans and Democrats when it comes to social platforms banning former President Donald Trump.

The think tank surveyed 10,334 adults in the U.S. between Jan. 19 and 24, and it found that 58% of respondents felt that social media companies’ decisions to ban Trump following the violence at the U.S. Capitol Jan. 6 were the right thing to do, while 41% believed those actions were wrong.
