New LinkedIn Marketing Labs Courses Made Available to Members

Users can learn how to use the platform’s tools to reach and engage with professionals

Courses are set up to be interactive, with text and video LinkedIn

LinkedIn opened the doors Wednesday to free online learning center LinkedIn Marketing Labs, which provides curated courses for marketers looking to use the platform’s tools to reach and engage with professionals.

Customer marketing manager Renee Lowe said in a blog post that the courses included in LinkedIn Marketing Labs are specially curated by in-house experts who have studied LinkedIn advertising best practices across a variety of industries and customer bases.

She wrote, “The fact is, advertising on LinkedIn works. Lead-generation forms on LinkedIn drive five times more conversions than landing pages, and you’re six times more likely to convert audiences when they see both brand and acquisition messages on LinkedIn. But not everyone has a solid grasp of the best practices of advertising on LinkedIn, and even those who do know the basics can benefit from advanced lessons and the latest trends. The science of marketing is ever-evolving, and now you’ve got a new resource to help you stay ahead of the game.”

The six initial course offerings are:

Lowe said interested members should go to the LinkedIn Marketing Labs hub and choose their primary focus—ad campaigns, media planning and strategy, or both—at which point they will see a variety of courses at different levels of expertise.

Pre-course self-assessments prompt users to answer a series of questions to test their knowledge of the topic, and the courses are set up to be interactive, with text and video, and competed at whatever pace the member chooses.
