NBCUniversal and Twitter will continue their longstanding advertising and content partnership with a multiyear agreement to bring premium digital content worldwide from the media giant to the social network.

The partnership between the two companies began in 2013, and the new agreement covers Twitter markets globally, which spans the NBCUniversal Sky footprint worldwide and builds upon NBCUniversal’s global One Platform business offering, which reaches over 160 countries around the world.

NBCUniversal said its total campaign growth on Twitter has exceeded a 10 times trajectory since 2013, and global video views for all of its Twitter handles grew 26% on average in 2020 compared with 2019, while campaigns were up 25% year-over-year.

The two companies aim to combine NBCUniversal’s premium content with Twitter’s advanced targeting capabilities, mobile ad formats and operational campaign support, and under the new agreement, the social network will provide broader sales support for the media company’s advertising partners.
