National Geographic is bringing the mysterious statues of Stonehenge to Instagrammers’ phones via unprecedented drone access and an augmented reality experience, Stonehenge AR.

A team from Nat Geo flew a drone over the site and capture more than 7,000 images, processing them into a high-resolution 3D model replica of the monument, which Instagrammers can interact with from all angles, toggle through different solstice times and take selfies of their “visit.”

Stonehenge AR was released in tandem with the cover story of the magazine’s August issue, Stonehenge Revealed.
