Mozilla introduced a new RegretsReporter browser extension with the hopes that people using it will help the nonprofit gauge how well YouTube’s algorithmic controls are working.

The Google-owned video site’s controls enable YouTube users to reject recommendations of videos they don’t like via buttons including Dislike, Don’t Recommend Channel and Not Interested, but Mozilla questioned the effectiveness of those controls.

RegretsReporter, available for Chrome or Firefox, enables users to click a single button that reads Stop Recommending in bold letters, rather than the two clicks YouTube’s user interface currently requires to give feedback on a video.
