Meta Updates Accounts Center to Make Switching Between Facebook, Instagram Easier

The new options are being tested globally

Meta began testing new ways for people to switch between their Facebook and Instagram accounts or create new ones.

Users who have added their accounts on both platforms to Accounts Center will be able to easily switch between Facebook and Instagram, and people can see both profiles in a single place.

Notifications will be displayed for each profile, as well.

Meta said it is testing this new experience worldwide, on Android, iOS and the web.

The company is also testing a new account registration and login flow globally on Android and iOS that lets people log in and create new accounts across Facebook and Instagram.

New users can create an account on one of the platforms and use it to sign up for additional accounts, while people who already have accounts on both platforms can use login information from one to access the other, as long as their accounts are in the same Accounts...
