Messenger Kids: How to Mute a Chat

The Messenger Kids application allows children to chat with friends and family without signing up for Facebook. As kids use Messenger Kids, they may want to mute conversations to stop receiving notifications about them. Our guide will show you how to mute a chat in the Messenger Kids app.

Step 1: Open the Messenger Kids conversation you want to mute and tap the conversation name at the top of the screen.

Step 2: Tap the toggle to the right of “Mute” to mute this conversation.
