Messenger released a new Group Effect in the Messenger and Instagram applications inspired by the Heads Up! game from Ellen DeGeneres. Users can activate Group Effects during video calls with two or more people.

Heads Up! is a party game that challenges players to help someone identify objects or phrases written on cards that they can’t see using verbal clues. The Heads Up! Group Effect allows two or more people to play the game through augmented reality by using specific head and facial movements to control the action.
