Ahead of New Year’s Eve, Messenger released a “Celebration!” chat theme that adds colorful confetti and streamers to a user’s conversations.
When a user activates the Celebration! chat theme in a conversation, the conversation’s emoji will automatically be updated to the “Partying Face” emoji. In addition, five Celebration! word effects will be added to the conversation for the words or phrases “Happy New Year,” “2022,” “Cheers,” “Countdown” and “Party.”
