Messenger began testing Split Payment, a way for connections to either split a bill evenly or modify what each person contributing will pay.

The feature is being tested in the U.S. only for now, and people with access can click the Get Started button in a group chat or in the application’s payments hub.

Messenger also teamed up with four creators on new Group Effects:

  • Emma Chamberlain: 1990s-insipired dual-lo-fi camcorder effect.
  • King Bach: Users can choose between two regal effects by nodding their heads.
