Facebook’s co-founder failed to crack the top 100 for the first time since the list’s debut in 2013

Job insights platform Glassdoor’s Top CEOs in 2021 was missing a familiar face: For the first time since 2013, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg did not crack the annual list’s top 100.

Zuckerberg topped the debut list in 2013. After slipping to No. 10 in 2014, he rebounded to place fourth the next two years, before starting a downward trend to No. 10 in 2017, No. 16 in 2018 and No. 55 in 2019.

Glassdoor did not publish its Top CEOs list last year due to the pandemic.
