LinkedIn released some updates to ease the concerns of members with gaps in employment caused by the pandemic.

The professional network added new job titles including stay-at-home dad, stay-at-home mom and stay-at-home parent, and in the coming weeks, members using those descriptions will not need to specify a company or employer.

LinkedIn also plans to add a new field specifically addressing employment gaps, with types including family care, parental leave and sabbatical.
