For the first time ever, LinkedIn released Top Companies: City Edition, lists of the top 25 companies for career growth in 10 cities across the U.S.
The cities profiled by the professional network were: Atlanta; Austin, Texas; Boston; Charlotte, N.C.; Chicago; Cincinnati; Cleveland; Dallas; Minneapolis; and Seattle.
LinkedIn said it compiled its ranking using data around seven pillars that showcase career progression: ability to advance, company affinity, company stability, educational background, external opportunity, gender diversity and skills growth.
