Instagram: How to Turn Off Auto-Generated Captions

Instagram features auto-generated captions for users who are deaf or hard of hearing. This feature is turned on for all users by default. If you don’t want to see captions on content as you browse Instagram, our guide will show you how to turn auto-generated captions off.

Step 1: On your Instagram profile, tap the three lines in the top-right corner of the screen.
