When someone streams a Live video on Instagram, other users can request to join their livestreaming session. However, creators can turn off this requests feature if they don’t want to receive requests from other users.

Step 1: Once you’ve begun broadcasting an Instagram Live video, tap the three dots at the right end of the “Comment” text-entry field at the bottom of the screen.
