Instagram introduced the ability for users to post pictures and videos via the Instagram website on a desktop computer. Previously, users could only share photos and videos from within the Instagram mobile application.
Our guide will show you how to share a photo or video to your account using the Instagram website on desktop.
Step 1: Login to your account on Instagram’s website and click the plus sign icon near the top-right corner of the screen.
Step 2: Click the “Select from computer” button and choose the image or video file you want to upload.
