News Corp has negotiated a three-year deal with Google where the tech company will make “significant payments” for its journalism across platforms.

As part of the deal, News Corp will contribute to Google’s News Showcase, which spotlights curated articles and offers short insights to readers. The partnership also includes the development of a subscription platform and new investments in audio and video journalism, the latter via YouTube.

The companies will share ad revenue. The size of News Corp’s deal with Google was not disclosed.
