Snap Inc. reached its first sales partnership in the local business advertising space, entering into an agreement with media giant Gannett, which will promote Snapchat’s advertising platform to its network of advertisers in Canada and the U.S.

The pact enables Snap to benefit from Gannett’s LocalIQ marketing solution, which works with more than 100,000 small businesses across all 50 states, and it adds to LocalIQ’s move to more digital and innovative solutions and gives it the chance to reach Snapchat’s engaged millennial and Generation Z audience.
