The sports world is still adjusting to the affects of the pandemic, but Snapchat has managed to carve a niche for itself in the evolving new normal for fans.
Snapchat said in a blog post that a survey of users last October found that 70% of them use the application while watching sports.
And those sports may have been different ones than Snapchatters were accustomed to, as 17% of respondents said cancellations and postponements have led them to start watching or following different sports and teams.
