CEO Mark Zuckerberg said in a Facebook post Monday that revenue-generating products for creators including badges, fan subscriptions, the social network’s upcoming independent news products and paid online events will remain free for creators until 2023.

Zuckerberg also took a poke at the terms Apple imposes on third-party developers on its platform, writing, “And when we introduce revenue share in 2023, it will be less than the 30% that Apple and others typically take.”

The social network is introducing a new payout interface that will help creators better understand their payouts, giving them information on what those payouts will be after taxes, refunds and fees collected by internet access providers on purchases made via Android and iOS devices, where applicable.

The new interface will start off on the web only, for paid online events.
