Facebook added events to the types of data covered by its Transfer Your Information tool, and two new platforms are now compatible with the tool: Google Calendar and Photobucket.
A spokesperson for Facebook said the timing of these updates had nothing to do with last week’s controversy over two researchers from New York University being removed from the platform due to their Ad Observer browser extension.
