Facebook/Instagram, TikTok and Twitter took aim at people trading and reselling hijacked accounts with desirable usernames, seizing control of hundreds of accounts across their platforms this week, KrebsOnSecurity reported Thursday.
According to the security- and cybercrime-focused blog, many of the accounts that were banned belonged to some of the most active members of OGUsers, which it described as a forum that caters to people selling access to hijacked accounts on social networks and other online platforms.
