Facebook: How to Add Captions to Facebook Reels

The app will automatically transcribe a video's audio

Facebook Reels allows users to add captions to their videos, and our guide will show you how this is done.

Step 1: Once you’ve recorded or uploaded clips for your Reel, tap “Captions” on the right side of the screen.

Step 2: Once the the app transcribes your audio, you’ll see a preview of how your captions will appear. You can tap the colorful circle at the top of the screen to change your captions to a different color, and you can also tap the font options near the bottom of the screen to change the captions to a different font.
