Facebook’s Archive feature will automatically save the posts that a user shares to their Stories after they disappear (Stories posts disappear after 24 hours). Users can visit their Archive to share their old Stories posts and more.
If users don’t want Facebook to archive their Stories posts, they can turn this setting off.
Our guide will show you how to stop your Stories posts from being archived from within the Facebook mobile application.

Step 1: Tap the “Menu” icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Step 2: Scroll down and tap “Settings & privacy.”
Step 3: Tap “Settings.”
Step 4: Scroll down to the “Audience and visibility” section and tap “Stories.”
Step 5: Tap “Story archive.”
Step 6: Tap the blue toggle to the right of “Save to Archive” stop Facebook from saving your Stories posts to your archive after they disappear.
