Facebook Continues Focus on SMBs With ‘Good Ideas Deserve to Be Found’ Initiative

Facebook continues to portray itself as a champion of small and midsized businesses, kicking off its “Good Ideas Deserve to Be Found” initiative on Facebook and Instagram Thursday, as well as introducing several product updates with SMBs in mind.

The company has used its support of small businesses as a battering ram in its public fight about upcoming changes to Apple’s iOS 14 operating system, but Facebook head of brand strategy Andrew Stirk insisted during a press call Wednesday that while Facebook as a company is on record as saying that it disagrees with Apple’s position, “This campaign is part of a much larger initiative in support of small businesses.
