Facebook Continues Efforts to Battle Covid-19 Vaccine Misinformation

Facebook revealed more steps it is taking to prevent the spread of misinformation about the Covid-19 vaccine via its platforms.

The social network kicked off a new campaign across the European Union, Iceland, Norway and the U.K., as well as countries across Africa and the Middle East and Turkey, in partnership with the World Health Organization and some of its fact-checking partners in the region.

“Together Against Covid-19 Misinformation” will appear on -platform via a series of graphics on tips for spotting fake news:

  • Check the Source: Scrutinize content, even if it appears science based.
