Facebook Bulletin, the platform for independent writers that rolled out in late June, is getting a local touch.

Facebook vice president of global news partnerships Campbell Brown said in a blog post Thursday that the social network teamed up with the International Center for Journalists and the National Association of Hispanic Journalists to choose 25 local news writers that will join Bulletin, as part of the $5 million commitment to local journalists Facebook detailed in April.
