It appears that Gettr didn’t quite satisfy former President Donald Trump’s thirst for a social media platform, as he filed a request for preliminary injunction against Twitter in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida last Friday, seeking the reinstatement of his @realDonaldTrump account.
Twitter permanently banned Trump Jan. 8 in the wake of the violence at the U.S. Capitol two days earlier, and most of the other major social platforms followed suit.
