Did you know that you can control who is allowed to send you friend requests in the Discord application? By default, everyone on Discord will be able to send you friend requests, but you can limit this to certain groups of people if you’d like. Our guide will show you how this works.
Note: These screenshots were captured in the Discord app on iOS.
Step 1: Tap your profile picture on Discord’s navigation menu at the bottom of the screen.

Step 2: Tap “Privacy & Safety.”

Step 3: Under the “Who Can Add You as a Friend” section, tap the toggles to the right of “Everyone,” “Friends of Friends” and/or “Server Members” to turn these settings off.
