WhatsApp’s previously detailed updates to its terms of service and privacy policy, which were originally set to take effect Feb. 8, were pushed back to May 15, but the Facebook-owned messaging application said people do not have to worry about the app suddenly going dark Saturday.

In a post in its help center, WhatsApp said that users who do not review and accept the changes by May 15 will start seeing reminders that they need to do so, and those reminders will become more persistent after “a period of several weeks.”
