CNN Cuts Down Podcast Programming, Slashes Audio Department

The company plans to produce fewer series next year, laying off many in podcast division

On Tuesday, CNN laid off a bulk of its podcast division, according to a tweet from an employee affected by this latest round of cuts.

Parent company Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking $3 billion in cost savings since the April merger of Warner Media and Discovery Inc.
