Clubhouse Tweaks Room Composer, Giving Users Setting Up Rooms More Options

Social audio application Clubhouse revamped the process of creating and setting up rooms on its platform.

A spokesperson said in an email, “You know that feeling of slight panic that sets in when you open a room and you’re trying to entertain everyone piling in, while simultaneously setting up pinned links, setting your audio quality and everything deciding else? Well, Clubhouse is trying to help alleviate that all with changes to Room Composer.”

Starting this week on Android, with iOS to follow soon, when a user selects Start a Room, they will have the ability to decide whether that room will be private, public or social, and the process can be started directly from a club, as well.

Other tasks can be performed while setting up the room, including turning Replays on or off, adding pinned links, adding Topics, choosing a language, deciding whether to enable hand raising and setting the audio quality.
